Pikes Peak Music Together, LLC
Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants,
toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987,
it pioneered the concept
of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement. Music Together classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical.

Did you know that all children are musical?

Have you ever wondered what you can do to nurture the musical growth of your child, regardless of your own musical ability?

Experience Music Together® and find out how important — and how fun — your role can be! Recapture your own pleasure in music and movement while you role model for your child and have a wonderful time making Music Together!

Our Music Together program builds on your child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement. We'll help you provide your child with the basic musical skills needed to enjoy musical activities and to study an instrument should he or she choose to do so.

Pikes Peak Music Together offers:

Mixed-ages- Family-style classes for children ages 0 through 5 and their parents/caregivers in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area.  Each class meets 45 minutes once a week to sing songs, dance, play instruments and learn rhymes and chants in a fun and relaxed non-performance oriented setting.

Baby Classes- Just for young infants 8 months and under! The music activities and materials are especially designed to meet the needs of parents with non-mobile babies who nevertheless benefit so much from daily music experiences! Once you complete one semester of babies class you move into the mixed-ages classes.  Not always available...on a needs basis.

Big Kids- For 5, 6 and 7 year olds, focuses on basic music literacy, laying the foundation for formal music instruction, in school or in private instrument lessons, as well as a life-time of joyful music-making.  In Big Kids your child will be introduced to a developmentally appropriate curriculum that includes solfege, instrumental solos and ensembles, choreography, harmony singing, vocal development, and drumming skills.  Your child will have the opportunity to conduct, improvise, and learn more complex musical components like reading notation, musical form, and chord function. Additional elements include take home solfege cards, home play pages, curriculum binder, and his or her own big kids cd!  Not always available....on a as needed basis.
